Habakkuk 2:1-2. I will stand on my guard and station myself on the ramparts; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I will reply when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said, Record the vision and inscribe it on tables, that the one who reads it may run. This passage has to do with the prophet standing his post and not coming down until he has a sure word from God. Too many people are coming out of prayer with half visions, half prophecies and are inflicting more damage than good. Full revelations come from time spent. Be careful of folks that always have a word and will many times hit and miss. With the prophetic you dont have to fish around and watch peoples expression to see if youve hit a nerve and will dwell on that subject only to milk them of their resourses. Get the clear message! Habakkuk was literally upset to see his people suffer and God not do anything. He brought complaint to God and now Habakkuk makes up in his mind that I will not leave my post until I hear from God. I really wish the body of Christ would grasp that concept. Im not coming out of prayer until I hear God and not my prayer partners. Not the televangelist. Not the physics, and I wont release half truth, half prophecies, half revelations until I know for sure that this is God.
