Had a fantastic day on the fabulous Fylde Coast with Karen today. Shared a train as far as Preston with several hundred Blue Noses. Finally got a seat for the last 20 minutes of the journey. Fast Flexity 2 Tram ride up the coast to Fleetwood then jumped the bus to Freeport Outlet Shopping Village - Retail Therapy for a couple of hours. Next stop The Bispham Kitchen for a wonderful meal - Home Made Steak Pie - simply to die for!! So much real melt in the mouth meat - superb value for money. Time to tram back to Cleveleys - and my favourite model shop. Bounce into Blackpool - bountiful booze, stags and hens - bonanza for the resort!! Record speed for journey home - 2 hours and 22 minutes by public transport!!
