Had a fantastic day today full of giggles. Have also been accused of making students think hard and get brain-ache. That makes me feel I must be doing something right. Today I have supported the first student to ever sign up with me. Now in her final year The Open University she has become a study machine. I have also met a bubbly, vivacious new student who was very wary of Skype but now thinks it is better than meeting face-to-face (no personal space issues, evening appointments and no travel time or costs). I have been re-hired by a student who graduated several years ago but now returned to to study. We just got right back into the groove. I have also had a laugh with 2 students who knew when I worked The University of Hull but are now studying at university 100s of miles away but have taken me with them as a support tutor. It is a privilege to be a small part of your life. Thank you all so much for filling my life with joy. I hope you enjoy our study sessions as much as I do.
