Had a football briefing chat with my husband the other night... 49ers won. Raiders lost. All was good in my world. Not his. Lol. Then he let me know about the new part of the video of a big ass pro football player knocking out his wife with a one-two punch in an elevator which was pretty disgusting to me. And, despite my husbands love of football, hockey, boxing, et al, it is to him, too. He said that the NFL knew of Rices defense testimony of what happened and he admitted to defending himself by punching her. The NFL shouldnt have done anything different because a video came out demonstrating the horrific violence which resulted in a woman being knocked unconscious by her husband. They already knew that. They should have fired him at that point when the courts let him off without any jail time. And then, I read this quote from Joe Biden. Some guys really get it. The one regret I have is we call it domestic violence as if its a domesticated cat. It is the most vicious form of violence there is, because not only the physical scars are left, the psychological scars that are left. This whole culture for so long has put the onus on the woman. What were you wearing? What did you say? What did you do to provoke? That is never the appropriate question. I dont know how but I accidentally deleted this comment on a friends stream but I must have needed to read it again to repost it. Joe Biden rocks. And so does Gil. #notallmenhitwomenbuttheoneswhodoaredouches
