Had a great day yesterday at Butterfly Farm. Jack was in Great form...well strange form... it was hilarious in the warm up ring. We did our warm up ....then started to jump practice fence.... along the side of the arena.....on the right leg...lovely turn to the practice fence...ming down to it almost spot on....then Jack decided to do this thing about two strides out....cross between brake dancing and an Ali shuffel then 1000mph....out of no where...over the fence and gone....Its been a while since we jumped I know but this was something totally new....Im putting it down to the dressage...on top of this I had hacked him up the hill that morning so he couldnt have been fresh.. This shuffel thing happened loads of times....even when Avril put the fence up....so we tried an oxer.... same again....any way ....we went into the arena.. Jack was amazing...by the third fence I had biggest smile ...since last time I jumped him in an arena...he flew around, even listened to me the odd time...so first round of jumping this year....first 1m ......Avril had a great round on Bella ... even after Bella , did a wheellie in the warm up arena. Although I dont remember that move from the dressage test. Avril n Bella were brill....thanks to everyone at Butterfly farm always a pleasure going there...so relaxed....and calm....till our two horses arrived,,,,
