Had a great experience Friday at the TNLA show in Nashville. A little lady stopped by very educated in native trees. We hit it off immediately talking about native trees and shrubs. Which all of you that know me know I have a deep passion for plants, native trees and shrubs in particular. I noticed she had a strong German accent so I ask her where she was originally from. She said Berlin Germany born in 1935. Well that really peaked my interest. Im a big history buff so I proceeded to ask her question after question about what was going on in Germany during WW 2 under Hitler. This woman was a walking history book. She was there. She lived it. It was a truly amazing conversation! And she seemed very pleased that I was interested in what she had to say. We exchanged cards and Im gonna follow up on the conversation good lord willing. It was one of things that make you wonder why did god put this woman in my life at this time. Idk why he did but Im anxious to find out! We talked over an hour. It was truly an amazing experience and I thank The Lord for letting me be a part of it. I definitely will be calling this wonderful little lady!
