Had a great time at the 5th Annual Halloween Classic @ Dirt Burners! There were plenty of great battles out on the track throughout the day. The E-Buggy class showed some guys throwing down some extremely fast laps. Qualifying went pretty good. I made a couple adjustments throughout qualifying to get the car dialed for the main. In the main I was able to get up to 4th pretty quickly, and eventually battle for the 3rd spot. At that point I put down some consistent laps, but couldnt catch up to 1st and 2nd, leaving me with a 3rd place finish. In 4 Pro, I had a terrible first round, but was able to get settled down for round 2 and 3. In round 2 I took the TQ spot, and barely missed resetting TQ for round 3. In the main I was able to get out ahead early and put together a clean run for the 1st place finish. Mod 4wd Buggy was a blast all day. I ended up qualifying in 3rd. The main was some awesome racing, but unfortunately an electrical issue put me out early. All in all, a great day with the R/C family! The pizza was delicious, the strawberry parfait, not so much.
