Had a great time at the Nashville Connection last night. Leona Williams and Ron Williams put on a great show. Not often that fans get to mingle and visit with the stars but Leona and Ron are both personable and love their fans so they are easy to approach and talk with. Country music as we hear it today on the radio and at the concerts is not anything like the three chords and the truth that Harlan Howard talked about. Leona and Ron are two of those traditionalists out in the music world that keep real country music alive and well. Thanks to Leona and Ron for a great show. And thanks to Betty Lou, Zac Hart, J.R. Jackson, and Deric Jarrett and the Silver Clouds Band for adding the trimmings to the show. Special thanks to Nancy Maiden for bringing Leona and Ron to the Nashville Connection as a tribute to Andy Maiden who passed away last year. We all miss you, Andy.
