Had a great time playing hockey tonight. Thanks to Tom Wagner, Gary Timpe, Wendy Wellman Esterline, and others on the team for making this 50... um... 51 year old guy feel like not too much of a burden. Thanksgiving was my first time on the ice since retiring from coaching in May. This was my first time actually playing since Christmas Eve 2012. I felt good once I got my 32nd wind in the second period. Luckily the 3rd period I moved back to defense and played much better. Not usre if I am going to make a return or not, but I really had fun.
