Had a great visit w Silva today! Allison Brock & I brought her some flowers & stayed to chat for a bit! She is drowsy & seems like she is just waking up from the best nap ever ( you know the ones where u just cant seem to get back out of bed & get super alert? Yep thats where she is at. ) but she is cognitive of things when she is awake & moves her legs around fine in bed, holds her own glass of water, & has no pain. She still needs to wear an eye patch, but its Such a HUGE relief & its so wonderful to see her! Your prayers & thoughts are working! She is hoping to move to the rehab center next door to the hospital tomorrow, but every day is a new day and she needs to take it one day at a time. I met one of her best friends today, Mary, who is totally awesome. Silva is in great hands with those who love her surrounding her & really supporting her in her recovery! Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers! I told her I cant wait to see her back out there, even if she is kicking my ass!! 😀 I cant wait for that day actually!
