Had a little break from here for a while. Just needed some time to try & pick myself back up. I want to thank you all, for your gorgeous messages, your texts and cards. It was all a little overwhelming so forgive me for not replying. How beautiful was it that we lost her on Christmas Day? It was her day. She always hosted the most amazing afternoon in San Remo, it really was something special. The house was always packed....to the point of bursting! Mums door was always open, and she loved that you all came, all through the years. She truly loved having you all here. She told me once that she woke up one morning and counted 27 children asleep in the house, piled into bedrooms and makeshift beds made on the landing. When I asked her what she did, she replied Oh I just stepped over you all and went up to cook breakfasts in the hotel. You were well able to look after yourselves. Cool as a breeze! Nothing ever fazed her. We loved her to bits. And we will never be the same without her. She was our best friend, and our glue. Am attaching a little piece that The Western People wrote about her, and also a thank you from us all. Her months mind mass is on tomorrow in the Cathedral if any of you are around Xxx
