Had a really shit meeting at the pound this morning... seems like I can do nothing but wait for the kennels to be available to us to use...BUT afterwards I went to see The Grossman family in Cartama and had a wonderful meet with them... they have a stable block of 4 huge stables... with a courtyard area encompassed with them... as a play area ...all we need to do initially is to raise the funds to secure the courtyard and the top part of the stables with fencing and we have a brilliant, clean, easy to maintain, all weather proof kennel block for our dogs... it is close proximity to the pound, and onto of all this the property has a zoological licence... which is very very useful to us as a rescue for transport under TRACES... I would dearly love to get this fenced asap so we can get the dogs out of the pound that have adoptions in place so I am begging for us all to dig deep to pay for the labour and the materials...
