Had a very informative day after attending the 7th Philippine Life Insurance Congress (PLIC) at SMX. Learned a lot and I got inspired more! Senator Grace Poe shared this morning and I quote “Life Insurance is basically a promise that you will be there when they needed you most! Insurance work is about services.” When I started to work as PRU LIFE UK agent, a lot of friend and client from our travel agency business told me, why don’t you just focus on your business rather than starting anew. Focus on your business and client and make it big. At first I also had doubts and second thoughts and told myself that maybe they are right. One day, my doctor client told me when I deliver their policies (hers and her 2 sons): “Babes you take care of them in the future when I am already gone.” I felt overwhelmed and honored. Just like what Senator Poe said, for her, that policy is like a promise that I will be there for her sons until the end of my life, to help them and guide them. This work is very fulfilling because our mission is helping people get protected and be financially secure in the future. AND I said to myself, “ I did the RIGHT THING!”
