Had a very interesting experience today. I went to Threshold - TopicsExpress

Had a very interesting experience today. I went to Threshold Tattoo in St. Charles to talk with an artist, Jon Bell, about getting my next tattoo done. This is not only a very important tattoo for me, but it will also be a cover up for what I already have on my side. Basically it will be full color, spanning across my entire left rib cage and hip. When I told Jon what I was wanting his first response to me was Yeah, good luck with that. He then asked me what I was wanting specifically and I told him I had some pictures with me to show him and his next response was Thats great since I havent perfected the art of mind reading yet. The rest of the very short consultation resulted in him being very rude, condescending, and just overall, a prick. Heres the deal. When I spend, literally, weeks researching tattoo artists, and plan to spend a pretty penny on this tattoo, it does not bode well for said artist to be unacceptably rude. No matter how great you think you are Jon, or how booked you might be, im still a paying customer. Im not going to hand over my money, my time or my entire left side to someone who is as rude as you. Not to mention that your first response basically showed me that you have no faith in your own abilities if you are writing my ideas off without any consideration. Way to accept a challenge, Jon. Its cool though. I went to your competitor and he was more than willing to accept the challenge of creating an amazing side piece for me. As for you, Jon and for Threshold, I wont be seeing either of you again.
