Had a very special delivery today. Thanks to Trynka Gogal and The B.C. Rehab. Foundation, for funding the equipment rental for the month, so that Chuckie will be able to come back home for Christmas. We are extremely grateful. Now with that in place, we will be working on the outside, I have some very loving friends whom I consider family, ready to put their backs into digging out the grass to prep to accommodate the area for a sidewalk. Then Chuckie’s wheelchair can get to the door. Thank you Roger, David, Mason and Cam. We love you. More exciting news to include is that Winvan Paving will be providing and laying out the blacktop for the sidewalk. A tight crew that Chuckie loved working for and with. Winvan is known as the “Good Guys” in the paving world,. Thank you Winvan and the boys for helping us reach one more step into Chuck’s return. Ryder was over the top excited to see the hospital bed here today. First thing he asked is, “where is Daddy?” I keep reminding him that we have to get the ramp and sidewalk first so Daddy can get into the house. He was disappointed, but eager to climb up and check out the view from the bed. He told me this is where Daddy can watch me from. I must admit I’m getting pretty excited too, I bought 7 big pillows for Chuckie’s bed from Walmart enough to fill a cart. I did get some strange looks. I got the decorations up, which includes a 14’ tree in our living room (whew!) and a 6’ slender tree at Chuckie’s Facility in his room. We are almost ready for the Holidays. Chuckie’s Mom, Nana, Brother, Sister-In-Law and niece will be down to be with us too. Looking forward to seeing them, ...we are eager for Christmas now and we wish it could come sooner.
