Had an AMAZING, SURPRISE Birthday dinner Friday night at the Chefs Table. Great friends were there and DeAnna flew in as a surprise ... boy, she got me! Eddie let Chef Brandon be his creative self and the dinner was absolutely incredible! Chilled Avocado Soup topped with a tempura avocado, Grilled Shrimp in a gazpacho sauce, Grilled Ahi Tuna on a wasabi honey topped wonton chip w/ lemon vineagarette soba noodles, roasted duck on wild rice w/ mushroom & seasonal fruit served with a grilled pork belly strip topped with fruit jelly, and culminating in my FAVORITE DESSERT a frozen mocha soufflet glaze. LOTS & LOTS of great wine from the locker. You have to DINE when you do one of these special dinners with Chef! Got there about 5:45 and finished at 9:15! Many thanks to my friends that hopefully enjoyed Chef Brandons culinary expertise! Many, MANY thanks to Eddie and DeAnna for the HUGE SURPRISE and all the planning that went into it. I had NO CLUE that anything was going on and no one spilled the beans either! WHAT A WONDERFUL 60TH BIRTHDAY! Love you all!!!!
