Had an awesome day today checking out some Southern Illinois wineries on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Got one half covered. Hoping to get the other half soon. Highly recommend Pamona Winery, and Rustle Hill Winery. The staff at Pomona were very informative and fun, rustle hill was very nice. But was really busy so didnt get to stay long but beautiful setup. Hedman Winery was good, had a really good holiday and peach wine, Kite Hill was okay, nice view, and Hickory Ridge , well they at least had a nice deck, lol. They just had a lot of dry wines. But what made it awesome and worth doing was the company.
