Had an early morning walk with Dexter up to the Pimple which sits prominently on Whitchurch Common - you have all round views to Cornwall one way and across the moors the other and is a lovely place to just sit and watch the world go by, well when I say world there is the occasional dog walker or pony! The building, which is the gateway to a water reservoir was built in the early 1900s and is Grade 2 listed and was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. If Dexter is lucky hell find a snack of an apple core or orange peel.
