Had an inspiring conversation today with Casey Gerald, founder & CEO of MBAs for America, a nonprofit generation to help Americans reinvent themselves and their dreams through entrepreneurship and spirituality. As Casey says in a speech inside this link: We need a new field manual for business, Gerald tells me a few weeks later, while on the road for his new nonprofit startup, MBAs Across America, which pairs students with local businesses. It cant be about hierarchy, leaders sitting in the corner office and going to the Hamptons while everyone else is pressing sheet metal. It cant be just pursuing quarterly earnings considerations. Leaders cant just say, Lets do this because it optimizes efficiency. Theres got to be a larger vision of our future and ourselves. Delighted that Casey will join the motley posse that is BLK SHP as we begin final preparations for our bus tour around America this spring.
