Had an interesting Sunday, family headed off to church, then after church I thought that we would rekindle an old Sunday tradition. Have Sunday lunch at Swiss Chalet! The only problem, is that the closest Swiss was Kelowna which is about 1:45 min drive... Giddy up. Now comes the interesting part, and no it’s not whether I had the chicken, or the ribs. (I did have both though in case you where wondering) We arrived shortly after 2, pulled up to the building the GPS lead us to Swiss Chalet was gone, nothing but a gutted building. Oh man and we where now hungry! thought about going else where, Typed Swiss Chalet into Google and found that they had moved to a new location which was yet another 15 min. away. (Ok now a little grumpy) We walked into an almost empty restaurant, just us and one another table with our friend Charlie Robinson. (For those of you who don’t know, he is a speaker whom we have brought into the church on a few different occasions. He was with a small crowd I walked up and said, hello and he didn’t have a clue who I was... I assumed it was because I just shaved off the old goatee! After their dinner was finished, he came up to the table and said... Sorry man you look familiar and I introduced myself and he almost hit the floor, he ran into the parking lot and got the pastor that was at the table, and said you guys need to connect. Isn’t God good, not only am I in a different Provence, but hit a restaurant so late and God sets up a divine appointment. We agreed to hitting Kelowna again on a Sunday morning where Pastor Mark and I can further touch base. Missing my home church praying for you often.
