Had an interesting afternoon today. After I get paid at the end of each month, I always make a trip to Jo Anns. Well today was the day I went. I had coupons and two were for 50% off any regular priced item. With coupons in hand I strutted into the store imagining what I could save big on. Well, what a shock, everything I wanted was on sale for about 50% off. I got two pillow forms, 5 half yards of fabric, a pair of Fiskar scissors for $10 usually $19, So when I went to check out I stopped at their candy display and bought a roll of Rolos for my husband. He is the one who drives me to the store and waits patiently for me outside in the car. I am not a hasty shopper, especially at Jo Anns. When I got to the cashier, I realized my 50% coupon was not going to save me anymore money at all because everything I bought was alreadty on sale. I was a little disapppointed but oh well. Suddenly it hit me, I could use the coupon on the Rolos candy. I asked the girl for the discount and she looked at me a little strangely. She asked me if I wouldnt like to save the coupon and use it at another time. I then showed her that both coupons for the discount ended today so they would not do me any good tomorrow. So she gave me the discount on the candy and I was happy. I LOVE Jo Anns and sewing.
