Had breakfast at the New London Cafe yesterday morning with Marty Mehling, Sandy Sandra Schubisky Grembowski, and Lois Lois Kuhlke Mueller Paulson. Kathy Johnson Anscomb and her husband Dick were in the Cities babysitting, and Lois Moline Backscheider was in the Emerald Isles. Got caught up with everyone. Then to visit mom. Superior Street has some gorgeous red Maples just at their prime. Beautiful! Listened to a new Jesse Stone audiobook on the way back home to Hibbing. Invited to lunch at our sister Alices Bacy Yen Vietnamese Restaurant for lunch by old friends Bob and Wendy Brown. Always great food there and a hug from Alice, too. Looks like the rest of the week will be rain/snow mixed. Typical weather for this time of the year. Must make a trip to the grocery store for some vittles. Latter, Gala and I will go out on the deck for a while and see whats in the bird feeders....squirrels or birds. Both, no doubt. Gala will no doubt be surveying her realm from her favorite place along side the driveway in the beginning, and then up on the deck later next to where I am on the swing!
