Had my big doctors appointment yesterday and he actually had some good news for me. Im not actively fighting the cancer now (ie no chemo) but the 1 chemo I had 2 months ago did some pretty amazing work. My original nodules have shrunk notably (and have stayed smaller even with no more chemo!) I have a nodule on one of my ribs that is causing some problems when I try to lie on my right side at night but I am going to have radiation on it next Monday that should relieve the pain. Only small down side is that I have a small blood clot in my lung too--on a blood thinner injection every day until who knows when. Good sign is that my IA City doctor made both a 2 and 3 month out appointment for me--looks like he thinks like I do and Ill still be here! Finding blessings everywhere.
