Had my first visitors at my new house today! Of course, there is no furniture yet, except for one comfy chair I dragged over there so I would have a place to rest between projects. Got both bathrooms cleaned, got the windows in the living room washed and the temporary blinds up. Got half of the carpeting in the large BR out--GHASTLY stink to it. I took my new tiffany style lamp fixture over, and am still deciding where it will go: kitchen? My BR? Nah--kitchen. It will look FABULOUS in there. Bought some shelf liner. Need paint. Need to shop-vac the basement. Need tile for the kitchen backsplash. Need a sander bigger than the one I already have. Need floor tile and a tile/shingle scraper to get the stick-on tiles off the floor in the spare room. Need to paint the window frames in the bedrooms. Need some TIME to do it all. Got all my flowerpots from outside brought over! I am contemplating what to do with my back yard now--thats last on my list, though, but when I get it done it will be a HAVEN. I love this crap!
