Had something blow my mind last night at my opera concert, I need to share this. So let me paint the scene. This is a ticketed event. Beautiful table settings and Candle light, a lot of people dressed in formal attire people paid good, hard earned money to enjoy a dinner and opera and Broadway classics. At the end of the night, after hearing what I think was some incredible music from composers such as Verdi, Pucinni, Mendelssohn, Donizetti etc. A guy walks up and says,is there any chance you can do brown eyed girl? Are you effin kidding me? You just listened to opera music for 3 hours and you want brown eyed girl? I thought he was kidding. I have a genius pianist with me, playing a gorgeous baby grand, Im in a tuxedo and he wants brown eyed girl!!?? Yup Ill do that one right after mustang sally, sweet home Alabama, freebird, dont stop believing, and wagon wheel!!! Id thought Id heard it all
