Had such a fun time last night. Went out to see Carol Adams and the new place where she has karaoke. So good to see her. Sometimes in a crowd you never know how the vibes will be, but it was a happy one. Good singers and they love to sing and very supportive of each other. Jon sang one of my favorites, Drift Away, he puts so much energy into it and then American Soldier and apparently there were veterans because they stood up and raised their glasses, went crazy. Another woman sang the National Anthem and it was beautiful, when she belted out those high notes, it gave me shivers. And then another did Youre The Best Thing That Ever Happened, OMG! She does have a CD out, but it was great. Good tones all. Carol herself has a beautiful voice. We said goodbye and Carol sang Happy Trails and mentioned who I was. A lady came up who was a fan of Dads and had a Palomino too. I dont go around saying who my parents are, I just cant do that, but Jon once told me that you never know whose life they have touched and to meet one of the children mean so much to them...Jon finished with Unchained Melody and when he hit those notes, gave me shivers. One girl said to me that I must ask him to sing to me all the time and I laughed and said I dont have to ask. I had a lot of fun. I just love being out and around people. We are all so different in some things but all on this road together. We dont realize how much power we have together.
