Had the annual Baines after Thanksgiving potluck today. I dont usually say too much, but frankly I was very dissappointed. First for a part of the family which chose not to come( for reasons Im sure we can guess) but To me family should come first. I also thought the younger generation was to take this over. It seems to be up to the same ones every year. There is more to this than just eating & leaving. Clean up is part of it too. My husband has been nice enough to put the money out to secure this place for us to have this event, but he has decided that this will be his last year to take care of it. If you wish to continue this tradition it will be somone elses responsability. I do want to thank those who did help & Im sorry if Ive offended anyone, but just sayin.
