Hadleigh High School Suffolk So far my son has had a stone thrown - TopicsExpress

Hadleigh High School Suffolk So far my son has had a stone thrown against his eye nearly blinding him, had his arm broken by a child who purposely pushed him to the ground resulting in a broken elbow and necessitating a cast for 4 weeks and its still not healed. Gets bullied on a daily basis by children as old as year 11 16 year olds. Has been pushed over out side of his own house by year 11s and his mother being verbally assaulted by the same child. Till now Ive put up with it and tried to deal with it in a lawful and peaceful manner. Now however even the teachers gave started bullying him. Whilst in RE someone in his class spilt some water on his text book and his teacher Mr Davy decided to yell at him and ordered him to shut up and then went on to ridicule him telling you youre in fantasy land this in front of the entire class who proceeded to laugh at him bringing him close to tears. After receiving a text and call about this from my son I called the school and was told I would get a reply that day. After school, still not having had a reply, my wife called again and left a message but still no call from the school. Mr Davey is also the same teacher who last year pulled my boy to his feet by yanking him by his shirt asking him if hes mad. My question is this. Is It acceptable for a child nowadays to be treated like this in school? Even though my lad is an attention seeker, is it ok for a teacher nowadays to physically assault him? Is it right that whilst in the medical room with a broken arm, a teacher should be allowed to tell him to suck it up, pain is temporary? Mr Lloyd? Is it right that the boy who nearly blinded my son with a stone only got a 3 day suspension? Is it right that a boy who admitted purposely pushing my lad over, a boy much older than mine, in front of witnesses, only got a 5 day suspension? I think not and I think its time to expose schools and indeed teachers who are wholly incapable of protecting our children from other students and more to the point, bullying teachers. I intend taking this to the top. Any comments would be appreciated Anyone else have problems similar to this?
