Hadnt been for ages so decided to visit Tampines EcoGreen yesterday, whilst the birding crowds were most likely focusing on Bidadari and SBTB... Regretted this after a short time as it was so HOT and shelter was little. Saw quite a few birds but invariably it seemed they too wanted to get out of the heat and so shots were all too often unavailable and/or blocked. I did shoot a couple and it was lesser coloured plumage, female day... With both this Yellow Rumped Flycatcher and Scarlet Backed Flowerpecker, males were not in attendance ... Nice to see them though
