Haha! Ive strongly considered adding a full length mirror in my kitchen. :) Im not prone to binge eating, actually quite the opposite, but after a lifetime of eating the wrong kinds of foods, because it predated the common knowledge of what is truly good for us, I have an affinity for stuff I should not eat. Plus I was carbohydrate intolerant for most of 20 years before a doctor figured it out. Nobody thought to even check in the early 90s. What ten average cupcakes does to you and your diet or body, a few bites can do to me. Strange but true. My body, does not require carbohydrates. It isnt some new age blah-blah, it is confirmed through testing by a metabolic specialty physician, an Endocrinologist. Quite the contrary for me, my inner organs freak out in response to carbs, and I dont mean gastric distress, it is actually more profound than that. The solution is medications to stabilize my liver, thyroid, and pancreas, and not eating more than 14 carbs in any 2 hour window. I thought even the Endocrinologist was whacky, until I ran a half marathon last May, completely carb free, and had zero of the symptoms youd expect from that much physical exertion on a carb depleted body.
