Hahahaha ya Junubïïn Some asked me why I am the one teaching my children cultural dances but not their mother? I immediately replied to him that is my duty to give them what I have and their mother have plenty to teach them especially to girls but I thought I could broader the answer to other ignorant who may feel the same. Children are born to the family knowing nothing in terms of discipline, culture, religion other any other right of passage nor are they born educated. What the world gives them is what they take and embrace and that is now known in this competitive 21 century where TV, Peers in School or any other influence can take a role in childs lifestyle. It is also proven by many psychologist that upbringing and the style of can have both positive and negative effects on childs life. Now a days; one will have with tje reality of cultural shock and the overwhelming pressure that is coming of Disney, Niclodian TV or MTV. Ony parent is left with the choice of making a decision that will keep.him or her closer to his/kids.
