Hakeem Yasin, deputations call on Aijaz Minister directs immediate assessment of crop losses SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 10: Member Legislative Assembly and former Minister Mr. Hakeem Mohammad Yasin today called on Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan and apprised him about the loss suffered to agricultural crops and orchards in Budgam district during the recent hail storm which swept the valley. Some deputations from Baramulla and Pulwama also met the Minister and brought into his notice the damages suffered by the standing crops due to the hailstorm. The Minister directed all the Deputy Commissioners of Valley to immediately undertake an assessment of the loss suffered to agricultural and horticulture crops and submit the report to the government. He assured the deputations that as soon as the reports are received by the government relief to the affected farmers would be provided.
