Hallie is home but feeling crappy. Shes been throwing up blood from the biopsies they took. She hasnt been able to eat solids yet to give the capsule a chance to have a clear view as it works its way through. There is a high risk of her having a retained capsule, which means it cant work its way out and they would have to surgically remove it. Please pray that she wont have any problems. We have added a few motility meds to try and help. Her digestive tract has slowed way down. There is still food in her stomach from days ago. Shes had this problem in the past, but not for several years. There is also a lot more irritation in her stomach than even a month ago, so we are waiting on our nurse to come and draw labs to test for a few possibilities. Our GI says that Hallie torments her with her complexity and how she doesnt ever seem to make sense. Welcome to my world. Hallie will be wearing the monitor until tonight to catch the images. The battery lasts for about 8 hours. I have to return the monitor in the morning and they will start to analyze the images. We are hoping to get enough information to point us in a better direction.
