Halloween decorations clutter the aisles and upon us is the yard - TopicsExpress

Halloween decorations clutter the aisles and upon us is the yard work of that uncertain mid-afternoon when every single leaf for five hundred miles will suddenly, instantly, and simultaneously fall. This is our traditional season of harvest, of bounty, and of sharing. Philanthropy time. And the Communities Foundation makes it easy: Giving Day, September 18. They work with thousands of commercial and nonprofit organizations to do so. Only one day of giving - Keep it quick, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. They give prizes for most different donors, first to reach this milestone or that.... And bonus funds they may split up among participants after the whole shebang to support gifts of at least $25.00. So while we do this nonprofit theater thing all day every day all year, they want to make as many people as possible aware of philanthropy. Great Big Dedicated One Day Events are good for that. This Thursday is that day. Heres a direct link to Rovers giving page: northtexasgivingday.org/#npo/rover-dramawerks As always, all donations are tax deductible. What we need donations for: Storage and Class Gear . Secure Set Storage, about 500-600 square feet of it. We are budgeting about $7500 to build it and it will save us three times that over the next five years. Your money will actually make money. Class Support Materials. With our classes for kids growing, mostly because they are the most affordable in the area, we want to offer more and keep the arts for kids building in Plano. So we want to invest $2500 in class support gear. Your money will actually make artists. Cool, huh? Your donations last year did the impossible. You gave North Texas a new and beautiful theater space. Lets do some more impossible stuff. Thanks Jason Rice President, Rover Dramawerks
