Hamza Cricket Academy players,cricket protested against KACA LANDIKOTAL: Hamza Cricket Academy(HCA) players and cricket lovers on Tuesday protested against the Khyber Agency Cricket Association(KACA) in front Landikotal Press Club for their partial role and blunder in the final match played in Jamrud cricket stadium the other day. Players of HCA blamed and chanted full-throat slogans against KACA for their partiality and one sided role they played in the cricket final of All Khyber Akhtar Munir Shaheed Cricket Tournamentplayed between HCA and KACA. As many as 88 cricket teams from the tribal agencies were participated in the tournament. HCA and KACA teams were qualified to play the final match after sensational competitions with the other teams. HCA captain, Fawad Khan, vice captain Nowshad, Alamzeb, Asim and Salman said that it had been decided that impartial match referees would be called from Peshawar in the final match but KACA officials did not act upon the mutual agreement. They alleged that local and partial umpires played the final match who gave wrong decisions against their team. Prior to start the final match, the players said they had objected over the partial umpires and informed the officials.They said their objection was not entertained to defeat HCA with commiting blunder by the local empires. The traitors match referees in the first over of final match gave wrong decision in the favor of the Khyber Lines Cricket Team and then in sixth over of match repeated the mistake and gave wrong wide ball that proved partiality and blunder by the empires,said the protesting players.Adding after excessive wrong decisions by the umpires, the HCA players left the ground and the KLCT was declared winner of the match. Astonishingly, Taimur Afridi a player of KLCT himself became chief guest of the final match and awarded final match trophy to his own led teams captain, the players said. they said that it was a rude approach of KACA officials and termed it a big blunder against them which the cricket lovers lamented. They demanded of the Political Agent Khyber Agency,Mutahir Zeb and Fata sport officials to take strict action against Taimur Afridi and KACA officials and re-announce the final match under the impartial referees of Peshawar. They threatened that if their demands were not addressed, they would be compelled to protest against KACA the front of Khyber House Peshawar.
