MEDICAL BENEVOLENCE FOUNDATION: International Partner Prayer Requests for December: This month we ask for your help in praying about an ultrasound project. Ultrasounds have become a well-known diagnostic tool, and they are ideally suited for use in developing countries due to their portability, non-invasive function and cost effectiveness. MBF is working on a project to provide ultrasound machines for 5 Malawi mission hospitals. ULTRASOUND UNITS FOR MALAWI HOSPITALS: 1. Praise God for a church grant that is a great jump-start on a project to provide 6 portable ultrasound units for 5 Malawi mission hospitals - Ekwendeni, Embangweni, Nkhoma, David Gordon Memorial, and Mulanje. Pray for other donors to help complete the project funding so it can happen soon. 2. Pray for the right people to volunteer as the training team to train key Malawi hospital staff. These trained personnel will then return and train other physicians and clinical officers at their hospitals. 3. Pray for hospital staff and technicians to embrace this technology and be empowered to provide better diagnosis and treatment. Pray that this will encourage and energize them in their work of giving the best care possible to all their patients.
