Happily rollin down the changing politico-economic river of olongapo means just doing what each one of us can do …to improve everyone’s lives for the better…. 1.So 9 months of changing horses from team helps to team tko has brought manic energy from everyone deathly afraid of another baha come 2014,and the leptos spike occurring again.Hence,we see the dpwh,shamed by everybody into dredging the city’s waterways… 2.(it would have been best to just create the two jetties on both sides of the kalaklan river mouth while the dredging is ongoing since in 2005,it only cost Php12.5m per jetty of a total of [php25m,and with the advent of technology,mas mura na dapat this year…to construct those jetties)….but changing paradigms is not in the vocabulary of the kitaan lords,right?Unless something happens to them if they do not repent…but that’s another story…there are great examples.look at the way duterte runs davao,rewards and all?I wouldn’t insult thy intelligence by comparing,but he does seem to make davao in the radar of intl. press these times… 2.Bueno,kudos to businesspersons who lent the backhoes and trucks to remove part of the 170,000 cubic meters of silt from sites 5-8 and the kalaklan river since our volunteer from Canada mentioned that we need to remove at least 2 meters of the silt.The natural tidal forces will take care of the rest..But the jetty,we need the two jetties to prevent the silt from being swept right back in…. 3.The bgys and olongapeños would have to do their part and desilt /declog the canals too this time. 4.Really with the climate change now creating new patterns in weather,we sink or swim depending on how good we are as a people surviving habagats 2013-2020…I trust tk balde’s team and the financial team,engring of lgu olo are moving heaven and earth to network with communities abroad to ensure olongapo won’t be wiped out from the face of the earth when the big water rise occur…it will come ,are ye ready,guys?No?then talk to city officials 24/7.The best way is to watch what’s going on,doing our part,…starting with the dredging project,the financial team plans,and so on and so forth… 5.for bellyaching never did change anything,but putting our money where our mouths are…as mrp does daily,would certainly ensure our survival in years to come.So to work dudes,15-24 year olds,25-65,and 66-77, age does not matter.Using our grains,and brawn at the proper time,will.Mabuhay gapo 2014! 6.So back to the question..what can I do?Inputs?....
