Happy 13th Birthday to Will Hoover, which makes me mother of a teenager! His gifts this morning: a new vacation savings account, language tapes, political world map, & atlas of changing country boundaries. The Rotary study-abroad programs are bookmarked to apply exactly two years from today. Hmmm, this when we chose to raise him first on a tiny island ... then in a protected college town ... to keep him close. Love that he wants to fly, though, maybe like the ospreys in Cedar Key, hell soar over the sea and keep circling back home.
