Happy 27th Birthday to my oldest son! He really touched me this morning when he reflected back about when he was little and he was not able to have all of the things that his cousins had because I was struggling. Yet, he remembers having these Nintendo 64 games that his cousins did not and that made him feel special. I could not afford to get them for him at Christmastime so he had to wait until August of that year to get them. And he also said how I had told him that I could not afford a computer but I made the sacrifice and did it anyway. It is good to know that he remembers and appreciates those times. But I am living proof that you can overcome things and become successful in spite of struggling in the beginning.
