Happy 72nd Birthday to my Dad, in Heaven. I miss you so much. As all your Grandchildren grow I know you are still with us because more and more I get glimpses of you in them. A little smirk , or quick witted joke. A crossing of their leg or a swagger in their walk. A head held high as they sing for the crowd or tell a story. A joy as they entertain another or lend a helping hand. A loving embrace to let each other know that they will always be there in times of sorrow and Joy, excitement or loss. I see these qualities in your children and grandchildren and even your nieces and nephews and I say to myself, thats Dad shinning through, letting us know that you are always with us and that we have taken parts of you and passed them along so that all will know who you are . I love you and miss you and wish you were here to hug me just to let me know Im safe and loved but I know that you are with me. Have a great birthday and be sure to celebrate with the other September birthday people in Heaven , like Grandma and my Susan Callahan Ferris. We will have a party here.
