Happy 80th Birthday to ELVIS!! My favorite album of his is and always will be Elvis LIVE at Madison Square Gardens. Funny story in honor of E: one random day, Dad must have been on the road, me, mom, and David were at home. David told me and Mom to sit on the couch in the den cause he had a surprise for us. Suddenly, from the living room down the hall, we hear the 2001 Space Odyssey intro...then Ronnie Tutts drum intro...as soon as the trumpets start playing the CC Rider intro, Here comes David down the hallway...he jumps into the livingroom wearing one of Dads Nudie or Harvey Krantz bell bottomed stage jump suits and begins to do Tae Kwon do and karate forms like the king. Mom and I lost it. David was probably 16 to 17 years old, maybe? True story. Anyway, we all love Elvis. It was awesome. :)
