Happy Birthday Thomas Bangaltier! The French electronic musician best known for being one half of the house music duo Daft Punk turns 40 today. He has also recorded and released music as a member of the trio Stardust, the duo Together, and as a solo artist including compositions for the film Irréversible. In 2013 they released Random Access Memories to worldwide critical acclaim. The lead single Get Lucky became an international success, peaking in the top 10 in 32 countries. Random Access Memories led to five Grammy wins in 2014 including Album of the Year, as well as Record of the Year for Get Lucky.
