Happy Birthday, TriStars! Here are some thoughts from Coach Carolyn: Its been 4 years since the Green Team was created. While TriStars Training has been in existence for 10 years (back then it was purely program planning for races), it was in 2010 that the true beginning of the team came together. Seven team members raced at the 2010 Sooke Tri on Aug 8. While hanging around waiting for the awards ceremonies I mentioned that we were going to come up with a design for a team t-shirt. The ladies at the race all said that we also needed a race outfit, maybe a jacket. What about cycling gear??! Then colours came up - what about green, purple, black and white? Those colours could be used on the business cards as well! Amazing how that day changed everything. Check out the initial business card designs. I think its a good thing that the purple was eliminated!
