Happy Birthday to former President George W. Bush. July 6th marks the 66th birthday of former President George W. Bush. Bush served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009. Undoubtedly, the most significant event during his tenure was the terrorist attack on our country on September 11, 2001. Since leaving office in 2009 Bush has maintained a low profile, moving back to his home in Crawford, Texas. Bush released his memoirs, Decision Points, on November 9, 2010. During an interview promoting the book, Bush said he considered his biggest accomplishment to be keeping the country safe amid a real danger, and his greatest failure to be his inability to secure the passage of Social Security reform.
