Happy Birthday to my most favorite and esteemed writer, thinker and philosopher. I dont exactly remember when did I first find his book and it got a permanent space in my bag. But as far as I remember, those belonged to my Nanaji. He passed away when I was 3 or 4. But the moments we shared, they still are loving memories. Yes ! He had a wardrobe full of this treasure. Mostly russian writers, noble laureates and all those who gave this world some Gift. And as I grew up reading those books which a boy like me could have never get in that small town. So I read them and began to explore Leo tolstoy with Anna Karenina, War and Peace, Resurrection and many more. Every time I read any of his books, I found a different definition with a different perspective of Love, life and myself. And eventually I discovered my Nanaji with his choices. The creations which were too rare to be found in a small town where I belong. He is one of the people who I truly miss being with. He still stays with the books which somehow reached me and gave me some of my lifes biggest lessons.Tolstoy resembles me of him. May be that is the reason I find myself more closer to Tolstoy than any other writer. Love you ! Nanaji and Tolstoy
