Happy Birthday to my twin brother Henry Castellanos who has been there for me over the years. Countless times you have come to my aid as you have for other members of our family and friends as well. Im blessed to have you as my brother. Yes we have our differences but we are so much alike. Well we made it this far in this thing called life, might as well see it all the way through. I was given a poem the day of our graduation that just pierced my heart and its titled The Man Who dares and it goes, The man who decides what he wants to achieve and works till his dreams all come true, the man who will alter his course when he must and bravely begin something new. The man whos determined to make his world better, whos willing to learn and to lead. The man who keeps trying and doing his best, is the man who knows how to succeed. Henry, you exemplify this poem. You are that man this poem speaks of. It was given to me by our friend Jorge Caballeros back at our high school graduation in 1988, what, some 26 years ago. I fell in love with this poem instantly and right away began reciting it over and over until I committed it to heart and memory. I new the road ahead was not going to be easy, it was going to be hard. I wanted to arm myself with anything I could to deal with the rough times ahead. This was before I really got close to God and started committing scripture. And arm myself I did. But I noticed that you Henry, you always seem to have the attitude of, I got this! and me, clueless...I got nothing! It always felt like I was in a fog and useless with no real sense of direction. After high school you became my compass in the fog, steering me away from the rocks and shore. Stopping me from shipwrecking myself, saving me from myself...my temper...my curse... oh how blessed I am to have you my dear brother. I love you with all my heart, and your family. How fitting that I share these words from my heart with you on our birthday and just seven days from fathers day. We have been blessed with beautiful wifes who gave us beautiful children. Its not over my dear brother the second half of our lives is just begging lets finish strong! Cardinal Defense!.....Strong left!!.....X DOG!!! Barbarian Brothers.....for ever!...Rrrrr!!!
