Happy Birthday, to my youngest daughter, Journeyy Smith. For about a year and a half, its been just you and me kid. Poor thang. You have ran, walked, crawled, laid and snuggled beside me this entire time. You have wiped many a tear from my eyes. You have laughed at my ridiculously, dorky humor. Youve given me the mom eyes, when Ive gone too far with that as well...saving me from even more embarrassment. Youve baked cookies, lemon bars, cup cakes and brownies. Youve given me my injections when I couldnt reach the backs of my arms or hips. Youve documented many things for my MS and were the best nurse, when the pain was too much for me to bear. Youve prayed for me, youve hugged me, youve understood me, when no one else has. You have a beautiful soul. You often think of others and help them when you can. Ive heard you share your relationship with Jesus to kids who are younger than you, when you didnt know I heard you. Youve listened to those who have horrible things going on in their life and you have encouraged them to keep going. God has gifted you with many natural gifts and beauty. I never see you take those gifts for granted. You know the many blessings he has given you and are always thinking of ways to bless others with them. I cannot believe youre 17. I wont have you much longer, so I will cherish these last few moments we have together. Youre growing into a wonderful woman. I am proud of you. Love, Mom
