Happy Birthday to the most wonderful father in the world, my guardian angel. I miss you more than words will ever express, and more than most will understand. You were my role model, my teacher, my cheerleader, my hero. You taught me how to be a good person, to value knowledge and the little things in life. You showed me that it is actions that truly matter, and for a man who said so few words, the words you said always carried meaning. You taught me to laugh at life, and more importantly how to laugh at myself. You taught me the meaning of family, and that it isnt always the ones who are blood related. You showed me that even when two people can be so different, if there is one common connection they can find a way to get along. You taught me that love doesnt necessarily mean romance, but trust and compromise. You never stopped pushing me to be my best, and you never stopped believing in me and whatever crazy dream I had. You supported me, whether you liked my choices or not. You were always there when I called for you, but you also gave me the space to spread my wings and fly. I never wanted to lose you, and I know you never wanted to leave, it was just... Your time. I believe in heaven solely because I cant imagine you not existing somewhere other than in my memories. Wherever you are... Whatever you are... And whatever you are doing, I pray that you are at peace. I pray you are happy. And I pray that I can make you just as proud to call me your daughter, as I am to share your name and call you my daddy.
