Happy Earth Day! I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh show briefly of the local radio station this morning with guest host Eric Erickson. I really didnt think anybody could be as obnoxious as Rush, but this guy is about the same caliber...he was commenting on global warming, saying that Earth Day is a communist plot because it falls on Lenins birthday. Wow. What will they think of next? In any case I decided to look him up---hmm... educated in Dubai, son of an oilman, elected to office in Alabama, had a terrible record for attendance in office, quit before his term to go become a political commentator on CNN, quit CNN for Fox... and now hes guest-hosting for Rush. Listening to him was disgusting. I cant believe they let idiots like him on the air! I do wish KVML, our local station, would drop the Rush show because it is nothing but a hate-mongering and right-wing propaganda smear campaign about anything to do with the environment, healthcare, equal rights, or democrats. Its not the truth, its not accurate and its unbelievable people can buy the line of crap they keep feeding us. Rush is losing sponsors at a phenomenal rate (maybe people are beginning to see through the disinformation) and all I have to say is if this is who they will get to replace the idiot (Rush), then goodbye Excellence In Broadcasting Network.
