Happy Fathers Day! Before there was a Teeters Telescopes, LLC, there was Rob Teeter and his father, making the rounds to all of the star parties in the northeast and mid-Atlantic. Below are two pictures of myself (about 15 years old) and my father prior to his passing in 1999. He gave me the skills, but more importantly, the confidence to to continue building telescopes after he was no longer around to help guide me. It was his support of my hobby, for which he personally only had a passing interest (he enjoyed the camping and outdoorsy-ness of it much more), that I believe is a major reason for why the business exists today.
